Mystic Seaport is a living museum featuring a historical village of the 1800's with a beautiful lighthouse, several vessels tied up to the docks that can be visited, a planetarium explaining the basics of celestial navigation as well as a shipyard. Visitors can participate in sail setting demonstrations, watch carpenters working or even rent a boat.
